Ending no-fault divorce wouldn't make things any better for children, that's just a lazy excuse. But it would make abusers very happy by trapping their victims even more, which is the actual goal.

Mom & dad fighting constantly & it never ends because they're forced to stay together "for the kids". Kids absolutely love feeling like the cause of their parents' suffering!

Well no shit, the ER is where you go when you have a serious medical issue. Banning it wouldn't save lives.

But divorce also gets people out of those bad marriages. A bad marriage which ends is difficult for children, but a bad marriage which doesn't end is even worse.

@TankrunnerAgain @tamiurbandale @melton4iowa If you think men are getting worse outcomes in divorce court, push for reforms to that process & bring evidence for your argument. Don't trap strangers in bad relationship that harm their children just because you're mad at a judge.

Sure, it's sad that their relationship wasn't a good one anymore, but forcing them to stay together won't make them any happier.

It forces healthcare workers to make the judgment call about what conditions qualify for an abortion, yet threatens consequences if their judgment differs from what politicians or judges believe.

@Ott_boy @Indy_Is_Here The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget has found that Trump's plans for Social Security & Medicare becoming insolvent *sooner* than otherwise expected. Benefits are also likely to be severely cut under the guise of "waste reduction". This was always the plan.

@Ott_boy @Indy_Is_Here Not a liberal, & supremely disappointed in Democrats caving in to the right. It's why they lost. When voters saw an election between one party that wanted 100% bad stuff & the other party that wanted only 90% bad stuff, they saw little point to voting.
