Another protest led by Sudanese Canadian women in Toronto to raise awareness of the forgotten war in Sudan where genocide and atrocities are committed everyday. The Canadian government remains indifferent despite Canadian military equipment being used in this war. @MarkJCarney@AnitaAnandMP Canada has a legal and moral obligation to stop export to the warring parties.

There’s a genocide happening in Sudan. Men, women, and children are being slaughtered, and the world is silent.
No outrage. No mass protests. No hunger strikes. No boycotts. No “actions” on college campuses.
Just silence. Deafening, shameful silence.

There are alarming reports that the RSF is committing atrocities against civilians, including mass executions, in El Fasher and cities in North Kordofan, Sudan. The RSF must stop these attacks, allow humanitarian access, and ensure safe passage of civilians out of El Fasher.

"The sand in and around the city of approximately 400,000 is so caked with blood that you can see evidence of the RSF’s war crimes via satellite imagery, according to Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL)."

As we witness horrific scenes in El-Fasher, the UAE continues arming the RSF — which the U.S. has determined is committing genocide.
Enough. We must pass my bill to block arms sales to the UAE until it stops fueling the RSF's war crimes in Sudan. https://t.co/9aG76trXqT
Canada is deeply concerned for civilians in El Fasher, Sudan, and condemns in the strongest terms the reported mass killing of over 2,000 civilians by the Rapid Support Forces.
The horrors children in #Sudan are facing must not be normalized.
Children must be protected and international humanitarian law must be upheld. This is not up for debate: it is an indisputable fact and a legal duty owed to every child.
Keep eyes on Sudan.
This photo was from a year ago, from a protest on the streets of Ottawa, Canada. The world has failed the people of Sudan. This is a genocide rooted in colonial, capitalist, and imperialist interests. End the genocide in Sudan. 🇸🇩

Thank you @SalmaZahid15 for spotlighting the suffering of Sudanese Canadian families like mine who are desperate to bring immediate family members to safety in Canada from the horrific war in Sudan.
I know that my own sister, Kholoud, remains at significant risk to her life in Sudan as a result of these delays by @CitImmCanada despite being the daughter, sister and aunt of Canadian citizens. She is ethnically Darfuri where genocide is committed daily against individuals like her.
