I've blocked a few folks today for engaging in the "why are you helping those undeserving [fill in random visa category] immigrants instead of my more desirable immigrant category." Not going to engage with you or give you my Twitter feed as your platform.
As we pivot to a new Congress w/ the same old problems:
All of Us supports repealing per country distribution of green cards cuz w/ ENOUGH, per country isn't necessary.
For 12+ years, it's been proven over & over: w/o MORE green cards, it won't happen.

S386 is dead for this congressional session👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks to all who worked so hard to tell the truth about how bad S386 would be for America #AmericanWorkers and ROW.

I’ve been discriminated by cheap foreign labor. Don’t wanna see same thing happening to anyone else. Americans don’t even know what disaster congress is bringing in the omnibus bill. But I’ll make my voice heard against #HR1044 outsourcing bill. @ScottforFlorida@SenRickScott
The aforementioned points along with the talent and hard work of our extraordinary members have allowed us to punch above our weight and withstand a misled army backed by unlimited Big Tech dark money. Join our movement:

The ZERO SUM per country bill has failed, AGAIN. The All of Us strategy-developed by Bruce Morrison, the author of last green card increase-proves when the problem is NOT ENOUGH, the answer is MORE. Looking forward 2 solving the backlog in next Congress.

Funny how US Tech workers cry about H-1B abuse but then cheer when a bill which would have probably brought the best reforms to stop the abuse is blocked. So not sure how this helps them. Indians will suddenly leave and the jobs miraculously go to them?
#HR1044 is still VERY much alive in discussions on the omnibus, even at this late stage. In the Zombieland of Congress, controversial bills FREQUENTLY rise from the dead to come back and haunt us. NOW is the time to call your Congressman. Call 202--224-3121 and ask for your Rep.
HR 1044 headlines:
National Review: How to Paralyze the Immigration System in One Ill-Conceived Step
Miami Herald: Latin American immigrants could face visa backlog
BBC: A New Chinese Exclusion Act?
Real Clear Counsel: Stop Congress From Taking Green Cards From Top Athletes
Make no mistake. Most backers of #HR1044 and #S386 definitely do want to increase green card numbers. That's because this bill will make the waiting list longer for everyone but a fraction of the Indian and Chinese citizens waiting. It won't work, so they'll be back for more.
#HR1044 is still on the table in the negotiations in Congress. Nothing is ever "dead" until Congress is no longer in session. Zombie bills arise every year to come back and haunt us.
Call 202-224-3121, the Capitol Switchboard and ask to speak to the folks I listed yesterday!
"... it would be ironic if GOP leadership signed off on a policy that prioritized the interests of Silicon Valley over the stability of the broader economy and the American immigration system."
