@Ryans_Ramblings@CultureCrave@THR Gotta love the nonsensical scrambling of San Francisco landmarks. Somebody left Sutro Tower in a hot car and it melted I guess.
@Edokwin@zbowling A lot of people on Twitter wildly strawman YIMBYs. It's basically a divide between people who think that blocking new housing somehow makes housing cheaper vs people who know that it doesn't.
@KirkwoodDW@EmergencyBod But according to this article, some of the books at risk under Missouri's book ban include Batman and X-Men, Readerโs Digest, works about da Vinci and Michelangelo, graphic novel adaptations of Shakespeare and Mark Twain, and The Childrenโs Bible.

@MidwestDeplore@unseenhorizons@AlexYablon@pastichepsyop M. Nolan Gray and Darrell Owens (of CA-YIMBY) spoke out in favor of Jordan Court, the first low-income housing built in Berkeley in decades. Jordan Court was only possible because of the passage of (YIMBY-supported) SB35.
@MidwestDeplore@unseenhorizons@AlexYablon@pastichepsyop YIMBYTown conferences include people like the founder of A Better Cambridge, which supports the 100% AH overlay; Tram Hoang who advocates for rent stabilization in Minneapolis/St. Paul; Tiffany McCoy who cowrote Seattle's I-135 public housing initiative.

Richard Hanania (right wing bullshitter) is trending on social media. I remember a year ago when he admitted that he rejects moral arguments for trans rights because he just plain doesn't like gender-nonconforming people.
@RetroBitGaming@cucholix I'm hoping the dual analog Saturn controller is one of those cool products! That's by far my most anticipated release from y'all.

@mold_time This reminds me of the 2021 (800-page!) multiple chemical sensitivity paper commissioned by the govt of Quebec. TLDR: Multiple chemical sensitivity is almost certainly a conditioned anxiety response, where the sufferer associates certain smells with danger. (1/2)
