@aleyda We've developed our own to supplement what's available out there. It's handy because we can change the code here and there to better fit the client/website.
I love this solution because you can easily keep separate directory structures for those to be indexed, and those not, and use separate htaccess for each directory.

Do you have a large collection of PDFs or Word Docs that are being accidentally indexed by search engines? You could block them in robots.txt, but a better/cleaner solution is to noindex them right inside the HTTP header with this htaccess code:
