@UTDJonesLab @ENirenberg More likely, their immune systems have been compromised by prior covid infection (of course, I cannot be certain), resulting in a more dramatic presentation with this instance of RSV. So sorry your littles were so miserable.

@Evelyn11007996 @chaserbaybe @RepMTG What children do you know? Mine are very clear on their color preferences, food preferences, clothing preferences… they understand a lot more than people give them credit for. Affirming their emotions and guiding them to become good humans is our whole job.

@exortho @snarkypeds I *feel* this. Have also been yelled at because kid was given abx at UC days after my exam was c/w viral URI. The whole can be so hard to explain to exhausted parents watching their kids feeling miserably.

@snarkypeds @blessedslr How do you feel about using some antihistamines here and there? I don’t love giving Benadryl, but intermittently at bedtime, it seems to help calm the cough and help everyone get a few hours of sleep when folks are feeling desperate. Also, Zyrtec- not sure it helps a ton, maybe?
