And now they are giving every kid an account automatically, which means every kid will have a vehicle to receive philanthropic contributions of stock.
Its a great way for very wealthy people to make a concrete difference in people‘s lives, especially compared to plowing billions into liberal nonprofits.
Millennials could change the course of the generations after us. We were lied to about the value of a college degree. We were misled about what it took to afford a house. We could end the SS scam that is a failure. Y’all let’s do it for the younger siblings.
I would agree to a plan to phase out social security over the next 25 years, even knowing that it means the system will end right at the moment when I would start drawing a check. If that means that my kids and grandchildren aren’t subjected to this scam for their entire lives, I’m willing to take that hit. I just can’t for the life of me understand or relate to the older people who don’t feel that way and wouldn’t be willing to make the sacrifice for the sake of their descendants. Totally foreign mentality to me. I truly find it baffling. Setting my kids up for the future is like one of the only things I care about anymore.
1. What's the procedure?
2. How much does it cost?
Those are the basic questions every healthcare provider should be able to answer. We’re too prosperous a country to keep accepting less.
If social security is so awesome how come it’s mandatory?
Usually awesome things don’t have to be mandated by government putting a gun to people’s heads…
The worker-to-retiree ratio was 5:1 in the 1960s.
Now it's 3:1.
In 15 years, it'll be 2:1 - every married couple will have their very own personal retiree's Medicare and Social Security to fund.
Why aren't young people having kids?
They're paying for grandparents instead.
I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.
The choice to sin will always take you farther than you meant to go. Jane Doe got more than she bargained for. She feels violated, wrecked, and discarded because she was. That is where her sin took her. The Cornell 7 got more than they bargained for too. They are being accused of doing something wicked because they did, however mislabeled. That is where their sin took them. That is the nature of sin. Where its scope and its destruction stop is not up to you once you consent to it.
I am getting the impression that there are many white people who would be democrats if they were born black. The people who only vote on the right because that’s the side offering white people excuses and scapegoats. Just like how the left offers non-white people excuses.
Once again, I am angering the emotional mob with my 100% correct, if a bit hard to swallow, take.
Matching the racial neuroticism of black grievance culture isn’t “fighting back.” It’s cultural suicide.
We have the superior culture. Act like it. Don’t revert.
@DefiyantlyFree Throwing Jewish people under the bus is not as bad as Matt having the opportunity to associate himself with a negativity depicted character.
Someone saying Indian looking people can’t be American is ok. But a welfare recipient has to be someone far removed from him.
Sometimes I get real discouraged about the battle of the sexes on here and then I go touch grass and see how many normal men and women there are in this world who are just loving their families and serving their spouses and being NORMAL PEOPLE.
Many good men and women out there
We're still receiving unexplained, unitemized hospital bills to our house a year after I gave birth to our daughter.
They just expect you to not ask questions and pay it.
