@FirstWordCincy@M_Contipelli Brooks is enticing but I’d rather give his $$$ to DJ Dax and Myles, Wagner only on the cheap, he’s 35, and while his leadership would be a huge add, I’d rather let these young backers develop. Now if camp comes and they’re still not ascending then go for it.
@codiki I can agree about Shemar, though his contract was always going to be fully guaranteed, it was about the mostly standard language that would eliminate guarantees due to cause. As for Trey, well . . . I think we’re a better team without a stat chaser.
@BengalsTalkSI Now if the plan is to extend Myles, well then ok. Stewart and Howell are very different players than Myles. The key here is variety and waves of players.
@BengalsTalkSI Not sure I agree with the premise of this article. Once Myles got past his injuries and was actually given an opportunity to play he displayed the normal youthful learning curve and began to ascend. It wad a mistake in my opinion not to give him his 5th year option.
@maxmurp_ Exactly, I’m liking the vision, now it’s about executing. I also like the fact this allows Stewart to blossom without having to be the man. Depth across the board. Waves of pressure.
