For 18 years, not a single Prasar Bharati Engineer has been promoted. Even after all seats were transferred to Prasar Bharati on 1 April 2000, promotions remain stalled.
On 6 Aug 2024, Hon’ble CAT, New Delhi directed @MIB_India & @prasarbharati to implement promotions. Yet, more than a year later, the order is ignored. Instead of complying, MIB continues to fight contempt cases against its own employees!
This endless delay has destroyed morale. There are no shortages of vacancies—thousands of posts lie vacant. If promotions are given, it will strengthen Prasar Bharati, not weaken it. Engineers who have given decades of service are demoralised, discriminated, and left without career growth.
We urge @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji, @DrLMurugan ji @sjaju1 Ji, @navneetsehgal3 ji @GauravDwivedi95 to immediately honour the CAT order, finalise promotion procedures, and end this injustice.
Enough delay. Justice delayed is justice denied.

Prasar Bharati Board Neglects Employee Interests!
Despite the provision that two representatives of Prasar Bharati employees should be part of the Prasar Bharati Board, the board meetings fail to take any concrete decisions in favor of employees. This clearly reflects the discrimination faced by the employees.
📢 We demand:
1. Meaningful and active representation of employees on the Board.
2. Employee-related issues to be addressed as a top priority.
3. Transparent and fair decision-making in the interest of the workforce.
Prasar Bharati employees are the backbone of the organization — they cannot be ignored.

प्रसार भारती कर्मचारियों के साथ हो रहा है दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण व्यवहार!
आकाशवाणी और दूरदर्शन के माध्यम से हर महीने के आख़िरी रविवार को "मन की बात" का कार्यक्रम पूरे देश में प्रसारित किया जाता है। यह कार्यक्रम न केवल जनमानस से जुड़ा है, बल्कि इसकी तकनीकी और प्रसारण व्यवस्था में प्रसार भारती कर्मच���रियों की अहम भूमिका होती है।
👉 हम ही वो लोग हैं जो सीमाओं पर, दुर्गम इलाकों में, और हर चुनौतीपूर्ण परिस्थिति में यह सुनिश्चित करते हैं कि देश की आवाज़ देशवासियों तक पहुँचे।
लेकिन कितनी विडंबना है कि उसी विभाग में, हम प्रसार भारती कर्मचारी आज खुद उपेक्षित और अपमानित महसूस कर रहे हैं।
✅ बिना किसी कारण, केवल डीम्ड डेपुटेशन कर्मचारियों को प��ोन्नति दी जा रही है,
🚫 जबकि हममें से कई वरिष्ठ, योग्य और समर्पित कर्मचारी वर्षों से प्रतीक्षा में हैं।
📣 यह न केवल अन्याय है, बल्कि प्रेरणा और मनोबल को भी तोड़ने वाला निर्णय है।
हम मांग करते हैं:
🔹 दोनों वर्गों के कर्मचारियों को समान अवसर मिले
🔹 पदोन्नति में पारदर्शिता और न्याय हो
🔹 भेदभाव की नीति तत्काल समाप्त हो
APBEE इस अन्याय के विरुद्ध आवाज़ बुलंद करता रहेगा —

Shaping Future: Equality, Dignity, and Justice for All PB Employees
PB Employees of Prasar Bharati stood united—not just to protest, but to shape a better future. Our peaceful protest was a call for fairness, dignity, and equal treatment against the unjust 5 October 2007 cutoff.
Shaping Future Means:
1. Equal Rights for Equal Work
All employees once had equal benefits—CGHS, insurance, housing, pensions, and stable salaries. These were taken away from post-2007 recruits, even though we do the same work.
2. Recognizing Talent, Not Connections
We entered through national-level exams with top qualifications (https://t.co/IZQf48kI8h). Yet promotions went to less-qualified deputationists. This is not the future we deserve.
3. Putting People First
Colleagues like Jyoti Prakash Trivedi, Ankur Saxena, and Rahul Deshmukh died in service. Their families were denied support. This cannot be the legacy of public services.
To Shape a Better Tomorrow, We Demand:
1. End the 5 Oct 2007 cutoff
2. Restore all employee benefits
3. Return salary funding to the Consolidated Fund
4. Recognize APBEE for fair representation
5. Ensure promotions are based on merit
We are not asking for favors. We are demanding fairness.
Let’s shape a future where every employee is respected, and every family is protected.

For years, they have been assured fair policies and better facilities. Yet, due to the discriminatory cut-off date of October 5, 2007, they continue to face denial of promotions, family pensions, and essential medical benefits.
APBEE urges immediate action to end this injustice.
