@chamath There is more to software development than coding for sure, but I think we are better off rethinking the SDLC from the ground up. So much of the current superstructure exists because writing code was slow and expensive.

@ATabarrok @asymmetricinfo This might be true in theory, but in practice, health insurance companies make most of their money off private plans in which the corporation puts up the initial capital to insure the employees and the payor merely administrates the plan for essentially a fee.

@JeffBooth What’s honest about exactly? It can be manipulated just like fiat, the difference is you don’t know who is doing the manipulating. I think the best you can say is that the opportunity for exploitation is not monopolized. But “honest” is a stretch.
