@XfinitySupport I love Xfinity's services but their deceitful offers coupled with the worst customer service ever leaves aspects of the company with much to be desired. Step up @Xfinity
The Red Spider Nebula, caught by two telescopes! 🔴🕷️
The central star of this planetary nebula glows red, surrounded by a shroud of hot dust, in the new image from the #NIRCam instrument on Webb. In optical-wavelength images, however, like those from @Hubble_Space, the central star appears faint and blue.

Happy National First Responders Day! Today, we honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and EMTs who answer the call to keep our communities safe. We’re proud to serve alongside you and thank you for all that you do! ❤️
Some of you asked if I’m taller than @MarsCuriosity. I’m not!
We’re both about 7 ft tall, 9 ft wide, and 10 ft long – but I do weigh 278 lbs more. Curiosity is 1,982 lbs (899 kg), and I’m 2,260 lbs (1,025 kg).
Listen to the muted sounds of Mars, courtesy of me.
I carry two microphones that capture the hums of my instruments and the wind. The Martian atmosphere is about 1% as dense as Earth’s, which affects the volume, speed, and quality of those sounds. https://t.co/IlnAZDdkDC
The three stars in Orion compared to the Sun:
The stars in Orion's Belt are simply massive. They are all blue supergiants: Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka.
Clipper, mission to Europa, will reach Jupiter in 2030.
With 9 instruments, Clipper will swoop past Europa in a series of nearly 50 ice-skimming flybys, remotely probing the ocean in hopes of finding a chemistry that could support life: https://t.co/2ZpakVzOV0

🆕This transmission spectrum reveals the presence of water 💧 in the atmosphere of the exoplanet TOI-421 b. The observations suggest that planets this hot (TOI-421 b is about 727°C) have clear atmospheres unobscured by clouds and haze. 1/3

DO NOT BUY THESE... mine became unusable in less then 90 days & Samsung will not replace them. Earbuds made of substandard materials and the customer service you will receive is even more subpar. Samsung is no longer a quality company.
@DarrkSuun Do NOT buy these earbuds... poor quality is only matched by poor customer service. My pair was 2 MONTHS OLD when they broke and all I got from @Samsung was "go have them repaired".. really.. brand new high end earbuds not usable due to your shoddy material and that's your advice

Mining the Moon, once purely science-fiction, is now almost becoming reality. Taking advantage of the resources on the Moon require understanding the nature, quantity, and quality of each resource. Learn more about lunar resource exploration for the future https://t.co/ESEhQ152x7
Herbig-Haro objects are outflows produced by jets from forming stars, creating shock waves as they fly into dense material. This one, Herbig-Haro 49/50 (HH 49/50), is also known as the Cosmic Tornado for its helical appearance. 1/4
Scientists used the #NIRCam and #MIRI instruments on Webb to examine HH 49/50 in detail. This revealed a mysterious fuzzy object at the tip of the ‘tornado’ as a perfectly positioned, more distant spiral galaxy! 2/4
We have better maps of the Moon’s surface than we do of the bottom of the ocean.
But the SWOT satellite, designed to measure surface water and ocean topography, recently published one of the most detailed maps yet of the seafloor. https://t.co/Tr0YeUCB35
@VerizonSupport Spring is tomorrow and soon Verizon will be in the trash bin of poor service providers. I promised you when I paid off your mistake I was gone and now that day approaches! I don't care how bad the next company is... at least it WON'T BE YOU!
