@rauli_x@alistairsteel It’s not a good reason, the decision to handcuff seems premeditated and integral to the purpose of the call out to ‘arrest a racist’.
They were under resourced (one male) and he probably didn’t want to have to struggle.
Obviously not good reasons.
@Tom_Rowsell How and when do people in England generally receive Scottish and Irish ancestry? It seems related to clearances, industrial revolution, famine and empire?
@DeliciousDarth@scaredycat102@HugM246@sfrantzman I think they were intimidated. They went there with the aim of arresting a ‘racist’, unable to process new information seen and heard with their own eyes and ears.
Regarding no cuffs, it likes like extreme adherence to ‘progressive policing’
@CotswoldsQC@Lord_Talbot64@SAshworthHayes I got a suggested connection to Niall of the nine hostages from 23andme although I forget which family link that is through. My Irish ancestry is very low, but the details are good.
@Lord_Talbot64@SAshworthHayes You should be congratulated for continuously maintaining your family’s heritage.
Many of us carry aristocratic lineage safely nested in our family trees away from scrutiny or responsibility but you wear your heritage with pride.
