Also blender's rigid body system seems WAY more stable than it was years ago! In the entire time I was making this video, I don't think the physics crashed once? Did it get a big update??

@42irrationalist I think all the time about this thing I heard, that blind people who see later on are really surprised that hallways “shrink” into the distance, cause that doesn’t happen in a mental model built on touch.

@CDisillusion Yeah the hard shadow reads as an edge, and the soft shadow chin shadow reads as a shadow of that "edge"- the same thing that's happening below, where you get a phantom step in the render.

And the IK rig for Luka here- the animation is driven from a rotating empty (though apparently the mallet is typically rubbed on the outside of the bowl?? eh it's a space bowl.)
