@III_Gunther_III@Ki11ersix I just think BL2 still has the same stand around listening to dialogue structure that they doubled down on in 3 and 4 that straight up needs to go instead of hoping they catch lightning in a bottle with 2s story again
@Ki11ersix@III_Gunther_III People always bring up BL2 but it’s also a fucking slog to play? The start of the game is literally slowly following claptrap and listening to him and hammerlock yap. Yes it got worse in BL3 and BL4 isn’t any better, but I think they all share the same broken foundation
@Ki11ersix I think it would open up build variety a lot more if you could put skill points wherever you want, instead of having to spend 5 to unlock the next row. The way it is now just ends up creating skill point dumps that don’t actually help your build. But it’s always been like that so
@Ki11ersix Augments and capstones need to be reworked, should be able to use augments/capstones from different coloured trees and they should be good. A build shouldnt ever be better by not having a augment or capstone or both, they should always make your build better
@Ki11ersix There should be a machine where you can select a licensed part for eridium that greatly increases your chance of getting the licensed part from drops
@Ki11ersix Firmware machine should just be used to extract firmware off of gear and once it’s extracted it’s unlocked permanently and can be put on any corresponding gear slot indefinitely. I don’t like having 100 greens and blues in my stash just for firmware fuel
@oryxeleven@NilesSankey It just seems very bold, for me it’d be like if Fromsoft revealed an FPS tomorrow. Although I guess the difference between an FPS and an MMO FPS isn’t as big as going from an action RPG to an FPS in that scenario
@oryxeleven@NilesSankey I just mean, where did the interest in making an MMO come from if the devs themselves didn’t play them/had never played one? Sorry if that sounds rude lol I am just genuinely interested in how the game came to be
@oryxeleven@NilesSankey If the vast majority of the studio had never played an MMO, why did they decide to try and make one? Or was it a high level decision and the studio just had to follow?
@Whimsy_Wizard -is smoother, with rounded edges and has a more organic shape, almost a human version of covenant armour. The Mark IV feels like a Countach whereas the Mark V is like a Murcielago. At least in my opinion
@Whimsy_Wizard I’m not sure I agree completely. The Mark IV lacks energy shielding, which I feel is conveyed in the design with the large shoulder pads, hard angles, it almost looks like a mech suit. The Mark V, where they developed the energy shielding from reverse engineering covenant armour-
@EpicNNG I feel like the parts system inadvertently fixed the “legendaries drop too often and have no meaning” because now the chase is the roll, not just the legendary. So bad rolls plus low drop rate just feels extra terrible in this game.
@SnakeSuly@YoungPoaster@CASUALUFCFAN Khalil has what you call “sparring footwork”, he spends the whole fight backing you up to the cage and then once you’re there he just lets you off the hook and resets back to the centre. I’m not convinced he’s even aware that he does it
