Anyone noticed how the people super excited about agentic coding are old guys who don't program full time any more, and the young guys who haven't yet learned how to program well?
There's a very bimodal zoomer/boomer distribution of hype here.
So you’re telling me that one of the largest hyperscalers out there who has already spent $250 to $300 billion since 2023 is limiting their own employees usage of AI to curb costs?
And that doesn’t strike you as odd?
@crypt0lake SpaceX is mostly a data center IPO, not an internet service IPO. The evaluation is based on 100x revenue growth in 4 years in the data center segment.
Consumer internet service is already a nearly saturated market.
All that to say you're just doubly wrong and misinformed. Dummy
SpaceX will IPO tomorrow
Here's the bull case:
Target valuation is $1.75 trillion
But that's just on Earth
There are 8 planets in our solar system
That's $14 trillion in potential value
But when you factor in the other 100 billion planets in our galaxy?
$1.4 septillion.
Woah.
we named it random access memory (RAM).
then we built three levels of cache, prefetchers, data-oriented design, and an entire performance-engineering discipline whose whole purpose is making sure nobody accesses it randomly.
I do love New York - but regrettably all New York sports fandom is hopelessly compromised and inauthentic - everything is too soaked with money, celebrity, and hastage branding
Philly, Chicago, Boston all blow New York out of the water as far as sports go
