Guwahati: Three students from Manipur stabbed Riyaz Ahmed and assaulted his friend at Jui 24x7 Department Store around 4:50 AM, stealing a gold chain worth ₹2.8 lakh. Riyaz reported the incident at Garchuk PS. Malen Meitei & friends were arrested. Meiteis are really popular 🙈
Taphou Kuki Village was attacked around 2:30 AM by armed attackers from Senapati, with residential houses set ablaze. Such sporadic attacks on Kuki villages by Manipur Nagas or meiteis expose the illusion of peace in Manipur. The ground reality remains far from genuine peace @ANI
THE CONFUSED THIBAIKON MEITEI MINAI: AN OBSERVATION
As the majority community, the Meitei community has historically enjoyed greater access to facilities in education, healthcare, and sports, primarily owing to the concentration of such institutions within the Imphal Valley.
This locational advantage contributed to the Meitei community attaining a higher level of education and advancement than the Kuki-Zo community in several domains. Consequently, it was reasonable to expect the Meitei community to exhibit greater wisdom and foresight in matters of public interest.
However, over time, these expectations have not been fulfilled. While the older generation of the Meitei community was widely regarded as wise, educated, and principled, the conduct of the present generation, along with that of certain political leaders and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), has given rise to serious concerns.
It is observed that the Meitei community does not appear capable of confronting the Kuki-Zo community independently across all spheres, and has therefore sought strategic alignment with the Tangkhul community. The Tangkhul community now finds itself in a precarious position, having realized that without Meitei support, it is similarly unable to engage the Kuki-Zo community. The impact of this impasse is evident in the various difficulties encountered by the people of Ukhrul District in their daily lives.
In Imphal, both communities project a united front under the banner of the "INDIGENOUS FORUM" to advance a common narrative against the Kuki community. However, this alignment has not yielded the intended outcomes. Upon returning to their respective areas, sections of the Tangkhul and Liangmai communities raise slogans such as "LONG LIVE NAGALIM, GREATER NAGALIM," which are antithetical to Meitei interests and are strongly opposed by the Meitei community. Some members of the Meitei community have questioned: "What is the rationale for observing The Great June Uprising Day, during which 18 innocent Meiteis lost their lives in protests against the NSCN-IM and the Government of India, while concurrently attending the homecoming ceremony of Thuingaleng Muivah?"
The Meitei community is presently unable to openly critique either the Tangkhul or Liangmai communities due to its reliance on them for narrative construction against the Kuki-Zo community. This dependency has resulted in evident confusion within the Meitei community regarding its strategic direction and objectives. Furthermore, aspirations for unrestricted movement beyond areas such as Sekmai, Yaingangpokpi, Kakching, and Moirang Lamkhai remain constrained due to the strong presence of Kuki-Zo communities in those regions.
Recently, several individuals identified as Thibaikon Meitei Minai lost their lives while participating in the armed confrontation between NSCN-IM and NSCN-EF factions in the Tangkhul areas of Myanmar.
CONCLUSION
All communities, including the Kuki-Zo community, aspire to peace and tranquility in the region. The Meitei community seeks peace and unhindered passage along all National Highways. The universal desire is for PEACE.
However, the prevailing and escalating animosity between communities is likely to undermine any peace initiative, even if a PEACE AGREEMENT is formally executed.
In view of the foregoing, Separate Administration is proposed as the only viable SOLUTION.

TWO MAO COMMUNITY YOUTHS ASSAULTED BY TANGKHUL AND LIANGMAI GROUPS
The attached footage depicts members of the Tangkhul NSCN-IM, associated volunteers, and Liangmai individuals assaulting Mao youths without provocation.
It appears that in the absence of the Kuki-Zo community as a target, certain groups are reluctant to engage in violence against other tribes within the Naga community. This is a serious threat to all communities within the so-called Naga fold.
This incident underscores the need for communities in Tamenglong, Chandel, Senapati, and Noney districts to raise their voices collectively. It is imperative that they free themselves from the dominance and vested interests of Tangkhul NSCN-IM and its elements that engage in divisive politics and undermine unity and peace within the Naga community.

@SeiminDoungel_ How they talk Bhai bhai but inside doosman. The selfish mindset of the kaccha nagas will never be second to none. Their relationship is built on the common ground of hate on the kukis, so, once the kukis are out, lets see how long they can maintain their diplomatic relationship.
It appears the valley community's so-called "big brothers" have been exploiting them all along. How have they managed to maintain such deafening silence? And how long will this #meitei_KachaNaga blood brotherhood last? Only time will tell.
Every alliance is tested when the truth comes to light. Only time will reveal where loyalties truly lie.

@SeiminDoungel_ Assam rifles, how much money did the kaccha nagas give you in order to support them? Despite your camp being burnt down, you did nothing. Such a shame 😡
Had this occurred in the Kuki homeland, security forces would certainly have acted differently.
We still remember the events of 15 February 2024 in Churachandpur (Lamka), Manipur, near the Wall of Remembrance, where security forces opened fire on protesting Kuki civilians, resulting in the deaths of two Kuki-Zo protesters:
• Letlalkhuol Gangte (29), from Nalon Village
• Thanggunlien Haokip (15), from S. Kanan Veng, Tuibong

Has @adgpi been intimidated by NSCN-IM? Nobody knows.

Yesterday's Kuki-Zo Council (KZC) Press Conference held at the Press Club of India, New Delhi exceeded expectations, with an impressive media turnout. Led professionally by Pu #Ginza_Vualzong@vualzong, Spokesperson of the KZC, the briefing comprehensively addressed the key concerns of the Kuki-Zo people, including the #Humanitarian_Crisis, #Security, #Existential_Challenges, #Food_Security and the need for a #POLITICAL_SOLUTION. The press questions were answered with clarity, confidence and precision throughout.

Her name is Licypriya, a self-styled social activist who has stayed 17 years old for the past 3 years. 😜
She collected funds in the name of the environment and a clean planet, as if she were the mother of nature.
But deep down, she is the one supplying funds for guns, explosives, drones, and militant equipment to Arambai AT—we have a visuals recorded
But the big question ❓ is
How does the Indian government see a young lady who is so toxic and actively involved in supporting AT Arambai (a Meitei militant group)?
She must be 20+ by now. Why is the NIA still silent?

These are the people who allegedly burned down #Leikot Kuki village in Noney District, Manipur. The burning of #Kuki villages by #Kachaa#Nagas continues unabated. How long will the government remain a silent spectator to the unlawful destruction of villages? @LokBhavManipur
