I note today’s announcement from ICC Prosecutor, Karim Khan on applications for arrest warrants
It is vital that we respect the independence and impartiality of the ICC
Ireland condemns recent threats against the ICC and its officials - its role in ending impunity is essential
@JjinUk64@Glinner I don't know the religion of Nemo, nor did I mention any individual country representatives. And its pretty clear from the full clip that the winner was being congratulated and celebrated.
So, I've no clue as to what your odd take on matters is supposed to mean 🤔🙄
@PantiBliss It makes complete sense. When the normal voting public follows a boycott, they leave a vacuum for pro-israelis. Remember, the 10 points reflects the ratio of votes not the total volume. Plus, bot farms etc I'm sure.
This is a great example of what happens in real elections too
@Glinner @Sheikh_A_Leg It's called collective punishment, and it is a war crime. You've been away too long Graham. Call it what you like, Israel's actions are illegal. You're on the wrong side of this one.
@RoseAlannis@ColetteColfer You're comparing apples & pears. The Irish voting public can't vote for ireland. Anyway, it's a sunny Sunday, I've shared a valid point, but I'm not wasting a lovely day in excel proving something to the nth degree.
Remember that Amazon is not always the cheapest option. We have thousands of books cheaper on https://t.co/TbMwnWYMI4 than they are on Amazon. No hidden charges. Plus delivery in Ireland is free.
@gavreilly Surely people aren't surprised at this??! The boycott resulted in an uncontested field for pro Israeli supporters. I'm surprised israel didn't win the entire competition.
Surely, with the upcoming (real) elections, people understand the consequences of not voting at all??!
Resoundingly endorsed by UNGA, 🇮🇪 voted in favour of today’s Res on Palestinian UN membership.
Majority of MS reaffirmed the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination & statehood.
A step towards full 🇺🇳 membership for Palestine & sustained regional peace for all.
@Glinner And for the record, the irish public vote gave Israel 10 points because the sane people of ireland boycotted this propaganda event en-masse. So 10 points from a handful of zionist supporters doesn't say a whole lot really.
