We are delighted to welcome Mike Norton (@mtnorton) to our Denver office. Mike, who earned his JD from Stanford and PhD from Oxford University and serves as an Army Reserve JAG officer, will focus on white-collar investigations and complex commercial litigation. Great to have Mike as part of the @PerkinsCoieLLP team!
@afshar__s@axios Ya that was the other thing I’d considered: that the supposed undertones about him were LaCroix flavors at best that Axios were hyping up.
Just a reminder: We didn’t outlaw cigarettes. We just put a bunch of sensible laws around them and as a result hundreds of thousands of gruesome deaths were prevented.
Glad to announce NYU’s Rick Pildes and I have an article out now in Election Law Journal. Short of the long: we find higher PAC contribution limits weaken party cohesion, making it harder to govern at a time of already high polarization and fragmentation. https://t.co/52MmhAxYZN
If we don’t right this listing ship, here’s an excellent postmortem to the American Century. We did an unrealistic assessment of our crippling institutions, put on temporary bandaids, and repeatedly chanted USA for naught. https://t.co/RYIQvnutUp
@SteveBentel I once saw someone in a vintage ‘90s logo shirt in London. I excitedly asked them where they were from in Arkansas and they responded in broken English “Okay.” Perhaps a hog call would’ve been more effective.
Dr. Nalley was my thesis advisor & mentor during my entire time at @UArkansas. Glad to call him a friend and superb professor. https://t.co/Mba7iuNBKo
