Is this the reward for raising bankers voice?
All because I spoke about what is happening inside Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank under the leadership of Chairman #YS_Thakur.
Every single notice mentions my posts on X. So let the BANKERS see clearly what my crime was:
- I questioned humiliation of bankers in the name of targets
- I opposed unethical insurance pressure
- I spoke against abusive and fear based management style
- I raised concern about mental harassment of staff
- I demanded dignity for bankers
And the response?
Not dialogue. Not correction. Not transparency But legal intimidation
Is this leadership or suppression?
If a banker cannot speak about workplace pressure without receiving legal threats what kind of environment are we creating?
I ask openly, Are bankers employees or are they expected to be silent machines?
Instead of answering the issues seven Regional Managers chose to send notices.
Why such coordinated reaction to one voice?

Respected Sir,
I am writing to bring to your urgent attention a serious matter concerning the deeply disturbing and unprofessional conduct of Mr. R. S. Ajith, Zonal Head, Chennai Zone. Multiple reports, screenshots from internal communications, and widely circulated news articles on social media (as evidenced by the attached images/references) highlight a pattern of inhuman, insensitive, and dictatorial behavior towards his subordinate Branch Managers.
The incidents reported are profoundly concerning and reflect a complete disregard for the well-being and basic human dignity of employees. Specific instances include:
Denial of leave during critical family medical emergencies: A Branch Head whose mother was in the ICU was reportedly asked, "First tell me when you will return, only then I will grant leave."
Insensitive remarks during bereavement: Another Branch Head who lost their mother was allegedly told by Mr. Ajith, "Everyone's mother dies. Don't be dramatic, be practical. Join immediately or I will mark LWP." A formal letter was subsequently issued against the officer.
Disregard for child's serious illness: When a Branch Head's one-year-old daughter was hospitalized, Mr. Ajith reportedly questioned, "Are you a doctor? Why are you at the hospital? Go to office immediately else I will mark LWP."
Callousness during spouse's life-threatening condition: A Branch Head whose wife was suffering from a life-threatening gynecological condition and sought emergency leave for hospitalization was allegedly met with the remark, "You are useless, your wife would be..."
These incidents, if true, depict a highly toxic work environment fostered by Mr. Ajith, characterized by fear, oppression, and abusive language. Such behavior is not only unprofessional but also antithetical to any ethical corporate culture and gravely impacts employee morale, mental health, and productivity. It also brings disrepute to a venerable institution like UCO Bank.
Given the gravity and widespread nature of these allegations, I respectfully request the following immediate actions:
Immediate Suspension: Mr. R. S. Ajith should be immediately suspended from his duties as Zonal Head, Chennai Zone, to prevent further distress to employees and ensure a fair and impartial investigation.
Thorough Investigation: A comprehensive and impartial probe into all allegations of inhuman, unprofessional, and toxic behavior against Mr. R. S. Ajith must be initiated without delay.
Support for Affected Employees: UCO Bank should ensure that all employees who have been subjected to such treatment receive appropriate support and assurance that their grievances will be addressed justly.
The integrity and reputation of UCO Bank, along with the well-being of its employees, are paramount. Swift and decisive action in this matter will send a strong message that such conduct will not be tolerated within the organization.

Staff are being mentally abused and intimidated under RM Rajesh Das & DRM Prabhat Lal. Complaints include:
- Verbal abuse: “Doob maro”, “Sukkar kha”, “RO bulao pagal ko”
- Threats of punitive transfers & public humiliation
- Forced hourly WhatsApp reporting, excessive meetings, micromanagement
- Unreasonable pressure to achieve 100/100 GEMS scores
This is not leadership, this is harassment. Staff morale is broken, customer service is suffering, and the workplace has become toxic.
