@vacasarentals We are less than two hours from our destination in Ithaca and have no info on how to get into the house. We are meeting my in-laws, who are in their 80s. Please help.
Over the last month, DDR Section stepped up its efforts on issues related to the rights of persons with #disabilities in #conflict settings. We are excited to soon publish the brand-new Integrated DDR Standard module on disability-inclusive DDR. #DisabilityAndPeacebuilding
Very excited for this week's virtual event on disability-inclusive peacebuilding, which will be a side event to #COSP14. We have a fantastic lineup of speakers, including @SR_Disability Gerard Quinn. Join us! https://t.co/dK96o0OHge #disabilityandpeacebuilding
Last year, while working at my hometown paper I was banned from covering protest stories after calling out a racial double standard. A year later, I returned to Pittsburgh as a reporter for @VICENews to see how those same protests are shaping the upcoming mayoral race.
(2/2) Igor was always keen to talk CAR but he also wanted to know how you were doing, ask about your kid, share a beer. His quiet ability to connect helped him in his research, too. Rest in peace, Igor. https://t.co/TdFym9RdX2
(1/2) Saddened by the passing of @IgorAcko, a brilliant analyst and a friend to many. In meetings large and small, in Bangui and internationally, Igor broke down CAR's complexity and pushed us to look beyond the easy explanations. Thank you, Igor.

Felt some cognitive dissonance writing this, but here it is: @RachelICR and I analyze the violent elections and consequences for the fragile peace agreement in Central African Republic: https://t.co/E0fkOVAhxR
Over the past two years Sudanese artists have captured the hope of a nation & mobilized the masses to Sudan's nonviolent revolution. It was inspiring to work w/ @mojogallerySD, @sudalove_ , @galalgoly , @Merg_Salih , @khalidalbaih & others on this piece. https://t.co/3cYZwd1INu
@galalgoly Dear Galal - at the United States Institute of Peace, we are preparing a virtual art exhibition to mark the one year anniversary of the fall of Bashir. We would love to include an image of your work in this exhibition (with credit, of course).
Absolutely, @3ozaz. #Sudan 's peaceful protestors have been very aware of the role they could play in inspiring other movements in the region. And the message spreading to the region now? Repression works & there are few consequences. Leaders in the region have surely taken note.
White coat protests remind me of a Sudanese university student whom I met in 2015. She led a sit-in at the hospital in her mid-sized town to highlight the urgent need for more medical supplies. This uprising is underpinned by many years of creativity and bravery #SudanUprising
