On 11 May 2025, parliamentary elections were held in Abania, which were organised by the mafia government, according to the BILD newspaper, Rama.

The question that arises in this context is whether the EU is supporting the mafia in the election results, i.e. congratulating them on a heavily manipulated election.

The question of whether the EU should congratulate the representatives of the Rama executive, which is characterised by particular corruption, on their success is certainly worth discussing.

This is particularly true in view of the fact that this executive is also embezzling the tax money of EU citizens.
