The Govt of Karnataka is building a solid foundation in skillsets, according to Minister @PriyankKharge. “We’ve set up an advisory committee to understand the skillsets required for deeptech. We are among the top 5 AI cities in the world and our skill penetration is third in the world. The state intends to have a policy for responsible use of AI,” he said.

According to @PriyankKharge, Hon'ble Minister for Electronics, IT, BT, and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Govt. of Karnataka, the state has the highest percentage of working population.

Rightly so, he urges young Indians to actively engage in the economic growth of the state.

At #TechSparks2025, the Minister highlighted the state government’s many milestones in its startup ecosystem, including the Local Economic Acceleration Programme—a Rs 1,000 crore initiative to build centres of excellence, shared instrumentation facilities, nano GCC hubs, language labs, incubators, and accelerators across the state.

He added, “The reason we’ve prospered as a state is simple: we listen before we draft policy.”
In fact, the state is focusing on building a strong foundation in skillsets required for deeptech. The state intends to have a policy for responsible use of AI,” he said.

What does it take to scale in India’s lending space?

During a panel discussion at #TechSparks2025, @anujkacker, Co-founder of @FreoMoney, said, “Lending is a funny business; The ones you want to lend to don’t want the money, and the ones who want the money, you don’t want to lend to.

Finding that fine balance—in a competitive and regulated market like India—is what really defines a lending business in India.

“In lending, the dichotomy is real — matching the right borrower with the right credit is both the hardest and most critical part of the game,” he says.
