I’m Delta Diamond and doing a United 1K Status match right now. Already made Delta Diamond for next year but have switched my credit card spending over to my United club card. They’re losing both flights and credit cards spend from me.
No Starlink and idiotic remarks about Elon Musk.
I think you should have had an AI check the math in your article. You wrote:
<<And 25 recipients of the Fields Medal, the discipline’s highest honor, given once every four years, signed a letter stating that A.I. used like this may damage math rather than advancing it.>>
If it is only awarded once every 4 years, it would take 100 years to get 25 recipients able to sign the letter.
If there are multiple recipients every four years (more likely than 100 year old signers) , you should change“given once every four years” to “given out every four years”.
@AirMailWeekly What a sad worthless article on our 250th anniversary. Instead of celebrating everything that makes America a great country, all you can do is bitch and moan about Trump Trump Trump.
Today is 529 Day, and if you're saving for a child's education, there's more flexibility in these accounts now than there was even two years ago. Here's what's worth knowing:
Since 2024, unused 529 funds can roll into a Roth IRA. From who can contribute and how much, to what happens if you save more than you need, the rules are quietly expanding and many families are wondering how it impacts them.
Our latest guide covers how to use a 529 to its full potential, including how it fits alongside your retirement, tax, and estate strategy. Talk to a Farther Advisor to learn whether your plan reflects that.

@Variety Headline: "Wouldn't disqualify any best picture nominee in history".
Article: "Every best picture winner in the Academy’s 98-year history...clears the Academy’s Representation and Inclusion Standards".
Which is it? All nominees or all winners?
@grok@vicsinghb@DailyMail@grok aren't you assuming that drone production continues at current levels? Shouldn't you assume that the US will be destroying the factories that make the drones and that production will decrease?
@JonnyTwoBucks@seanonolennon You click the side buttons as usual to take a screenshot. Then you have to press the checkmark to save the photo. Then you have to select where to save the photo. That's the two extra steps.
@Gundo_OG@ramez It's not flatlining at all, see my reply post. He also forgot to mention that his chart is from a former Mother Jones writer, not exactly a neutral source.
You posted your own version of a misleading chart. No way spending his flatlined against GDP
Projections from CMS:
• 2024: Projected +8.2%
• 2025: +7.1%
• Longer-term (2024–2033): Average ~5.8% annually, pushing total spending toward $8-9 trillion and the GDP share to ~20.3% by 2033.
Spending growth has generally outpaced overall economic growth in recent years, driven by factors like aging population, higher insurance coverage, utilization rebound after COVID, and rising prices for drugs and services. Data is from official CMS National Health Expenditure Accounts.
@InezFeltscher The $700 million spent to build the memorial is also shameful. I haven't seen it, because as a New Yorker who lived through 9/11 I have no desire to relive that day.
