@NatoshiKamoto Second one, guilty as charged โ my notes app is basically a museum of lessons I keep re-learning. Do you ever actually go back and read yours before a trade?
@bostrovsky I lean toward one position too, rolls feel like the same trade just extended. Do you find the win rate looks better or worse once you stop splitting them?
You close a trade, tell yourself you'll log it later, and by the time you sit down you've forgotten the entry, the reason, and the size. Later never comes with details attached โ only the P&L does.
@darkstarproj That hits home โ red days make my head rewrite the whole plan too. Rereading my own rules is the only thing that quiets it. What's the one line in yours you go back to?
@ThetaFreedom_ That whiplash was brutal โ up one day, then NVDA dragging everything down the next. Sizing for the bad day is such a hard lesson. What are you changing next week?
@chadchristian Mine's usually 'just this once' โ never ends well lol. The second I catch myself typing it I know I'm about to force a trade. What's yours?
Your win rate can look fine while your account still bleeds. Fees, slippage, and those small test trades add up fast. Your journal should show P&L after fees, because that's the number that actually matters. Try it free for 14 days: https://t.co/eSLCEPIwpq
@Guardianwinner That one stings โ knowing the strategy works and still breaking your own rules is the hardest part. Which rule trips you up most when you try again next week?
@luciacaminos0 That feeling is so real โ wanting to close it right in drawdown is the worst. What helps you sit through it, or do you step away for a bit?
@TradersPrism guilty some weeks โ the writing part's easy, it's sitting down to actually review it all that slips. what's the part most traders skip, the logging or the review?
@morr_trades This hits โ getting funded felt like the win, then keeping the account tested everything. What trips you up most, payout pressure or chasing a loss back?
Most traders say they'll start journaling 'next week.' Then next week looks exactly like this one. What actually stops you: writing it down, or looking back at it?
@VickiYu Ha, that hair-on-fire feeling is so real โ rolling puts on a day like today is brutal. Hope you got some breathing room. How'd the worst one end up?
@Tiwish_Gbb Haha yeah, the screenshot gets the likes but the journal is the one that actually teaches you something. What do you usually write down first after a trade?
@justyemi1_ this is the realest post I've seen today lol. most people only show the wins. does writing it down actually help you skip those trades, or is it more of a post-mortem?
Start My Day pulls your trading day together before the bell. What you're holding, how yesterday went, and what to focus on today, all in one view. Then you trade with a plan. Try it free for 14 days: https://t.co/eSLCEPIwpq
@anujbaid96 Oof, an execution glitch on top of a -2.3% day is brutal โ and then missing the whole recovery on top of it. Was it the broker or the platform that froze up?
