Zero production-ready alternatives. One producer fully booked through 2027. Raising prices. Lead times past 6 months. The jack of all trades master of none meme is misused and overused. Prob rooted in human’s instinct to put others in boxes to easier analyze them. But it downplays the edge generalists have as the ones that can best see the big picture and connect dots across various verticals.
In 1994, Jeff Bezos famously spotted a stat that made him leave his high-paying PE job to start Amazon:
