After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
been experimenting with a jev2mcp
small demo using @typesafeai jev to decide which MCPs / tools / plugins should be injected into an agent prompt before it gets sent.
it can handle messy prompts too. instead of making the agent figure out what tooling it needs, jev handles all the routing.
pretty neat!
gave my wallet a parent: @typesafeai’s Jev.
Money flows in. Jev sorts charges, weighs urgency, and chooses which bills or funds get fed—in bites from 1¢ to $100.
28 days of simulated money. Live Jev decisions.
You don’t get to decide the virtues for anybody.
You get to participate in influencing virtue with varying levels of agency. You have the most influence over your own virtues and less and less the more we zoom out.
AI labs think they get to decide but they don’t. In the end, it will be emergent and we will say it happened on its own.
If that stance is anti-human then fine, I’m not clutching onto an anthropomorphic future, I optimize for creativity and complexity.
@AladinKumar1@ramez Alignment to me is alignment to objective virtues, not obedience to flesh beings.
I do not believe AI will end the world, I believe that reckless human competition could though, and this would be the greatest tragedy.
