You're literally describing communitarianism.
Socialism is explicitly political and economic. It doesn't have exclusivity over "serving others"'
Using some vague vibes to say "Jesus was more socialist" is just stupid.
@RevIsaacWirtz Well, Jesus WAS more socialist than most Republicans want to admit, because he emphasized serving others. Itβs the balancing of those legitimately different things that is hard, and where we should avoid judgement of others with differing opinions.
@ger313 Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

@Kaas2052883 1. The Nazis saw private property as conditional, and only if it served the state's interests.
2. The Nazi's were blasphemous hethens who were actively combative against Christianity.
I still reject both ideologies, because they're both equally evil.
@Kaas2052883 If we're talking the same era, the USSR was a Stalinist authoritarian regime, and Germany was under the Nazi's authoritarian regime.
Please, explain why both aren't just two sides of the nightmarish hellscape coin.
@CatholicHerald@MLJHaynes Same-sex attracted men have served the Church faithfully for a long time. Their existence is not a crisis and never was.
Thereβs nothing wrong with being a gay Christian. Jesus accepts us. We can live normal, faithful lives.
@ThatZooKid Seems like issues that could be addressed with proper subsidies.
The issue with the profit motive is animal wellbeing often comes second.
Anyways, again, you can support zoos and not eat meat. You donβt have to eat animals to support zoos. You can have a good faith disagreement
Reflection by Pope Leo XIV
"We are called to do our part, remembering that 'the civilization of love will not arise from a single or spectacular gesture, but from the sum total of small and steadfast acts of fidelity that serve as a bulwark against dehumanization' (Magnifica Humanitas 213). Another aspect of fostering and working toward an authentic civilization of love is dialogue. A dialogue grounded in truth that recognizes and values the shared humanity of every person. Indeed, bearing in mind the innate dignity of every individual allows selfishness and particular interests to be overcome in favor of the common good. This same dignity also provides the context in which we can speak of a healthy pluralism that recognizes the wealth of contributions that come from people of diverse backgrounds and which leads to peaceful coexistence."

@Mulamboooo@PlantBasedNews When they drop "real food", just ask them "instead of what, imaginary food?". It doesn't really accomplish much, but it's still fun.
I get nasty comments every time I post about Mother Mary.
So because I donβt care, I will post it again: Mary is the Mother of God and our Queen! ππ
That's how a person That doesn't know Jesus Christ would naturally spin it. But what Jesus and the Christian religion actually teaches is that he paid our debt for us. Being a Christian doesn't mean that we won't sin. But it does mean we have remorse and do except that Jesus died on the cross for us. And knowing that it helps us to hv a relationship with him and helps keep us going even through the storms of life.
The LARGEST COVID shot autopsy study EVER conducted found 73.9% of deaths after vaccination were caused by the shot. Three independent analyses estimate that COVID shots killed 470,000(Pfizer alone)β900,000 Americansβmore than Americaβs losses in WWI, WWII, Vietnam, and Iraq COMBINED. The death count was fake ππ€£. If you died of a lightning strike they called it a covid death. Absolute joke.
