The Kamal Adwan Hospital director has lost over 40kg in Israeli custody, was reportedly beaten in June, and is being denied medical care. He is being held in solitary confinement without sunlight or proper clothing, and his health is rapidly deteriorating.

Dr. Abu Safia was detained in December when Israeli forces raided the hospital, forcing it out of service.
