@BNightengale The Jays traded BA’s 39th best prospect. I get it, it has been a good year for rookies. Now every team’s top 5 prospect is the next KGjr. How is Dylan Crews doing, Jackson Holliday, Kristian Campbell, Coby Mayo? I can go on forever.
@EricCrossMLB Most prospects bust. Nimmala is 20 and is two years away. Just going off probabilities, the Jays have a better chance of fixing Soriano and competing in 2027 than tearing it down and waiting for prospects like Nimmala and Parker to make an impact.
@PDX49ersDucksMs@RealJRAnderson Look at a player like Alfonsin Rosario, who has had a steady rise through the minors, is 22, in AAA, career .814 OPS, but not on most top 100 lists. He has a clear flaw in his game, 32% k-rate. Sirota is 5-tools, no glaring flaws. He’s raked at every level.
@PitchingNinja Definitely going to be one of those team meetings after the game that the manager says is “something everyone can do better at” but is really just one guy being a donkey and don’t do what he did.
@StoolBaseball@iambarstoolgreg Lol. If this was Aaron Judge in the same situation, the media would be ripping him for his soft comments and not policing the clubhouse. Try again snowflake.
@LouisAnalysis In a recent interview on @GuardsTV, he said his main area of focus this offseason was trying to hit with more loft to the pull-side. Now we’re seeing the results. Hold on to smart young players like CD. They don’t come around often (except for this year 😆)
@GeoffPontesBA Nope. But I’m aware that you, along with Cross have been CD backers from day 1. I’m just passing this clip along because it’s CD addressing what I’ve heard a few of the fantasy analysts say is the one wart in his hitting profile.
@EricCrossMLB Came straight to this account as soon as I saw HR #2. For the true believers in dynasty, we want our flowers. But then there’s that unsettling feeling creeping in,“Sell high? Right now? Wait a month? F-it. Ride or die” …. We play a cruel game🥹
