Back in October I got an email from @Milly_Physio, a Neuro-Physiotherapists working at @GSTTnhs explaining to me the benefits of high intensity exercise for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
In the message she said...
Officially finished uni today… so lucky to have such an amazing year group who made my uni experience so good. Everyone will be a great physio 🥰 2018-2022 ❤️
But today a patient told me he had seen many physios before but was very impressed with me and kept saying thank you to me. Shows how much taking the time to listen and speak to someone can mean 🥺 wholesome student moment
I was nervous and apprehensive going into my MSK placement knowing I’d have patients that have seen loads of physios in the past with no improvements and then get ‘stuck with the student’…
I was wondering if anyone could help. I am looking for a 4 week elective physiotherapy placement in April/May 2022. If anyone is able to help please get in touch. Any help is appreciated.

If you have any physiotherapy textbooks lying around collecting dust please donate them to us!! We are planning on raffling them off to students for a much cheaper price and giving ALL money to the @MNDoddie5 charity 🤩
🤍LOOKING FOR AN ELECTIVE PLACEMENT IN MAY 2022 FOR 4 WEEKS🤍
Hi everyone, I am still on the hunt for an elective placement. Would be really keen to find some experience in MSK, ICU or Women’s Health but would be grateful for anything! Please let me know if you know of anyone👍🏼
This isn't acceptable anywhere. But this is what I saw yesterday at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow @NHSGGC while trying to make my way from one appt at one end of the hospital grounds to a #wheelchair clinic appointment at the other end of the hospital. 1/3

It would cost $13 billion a year to prevent 6 million child deaths due to poverty
Putting this in context Americans spent $30 billion in one year on pizza and across Europe we spent $12 billion on dog & cat food in one year
Preventable child deaths 😢

Ben spent over 2 months in ICU, during which, he worked with our OT Laurette on strengthening his upper limbs so he could get back to his meaningful occupations. Today, Ben played this for Laurette when she went to catch up with him…what an absolute #rehablegend 💚⭐️🎄 #icurehab
