right now we have a pretty solid foundation working. Once we iron out a few more details and feel good about the functionality of the base system, we are going to begin implementing various agents fine-tuned to different research topics.

the idea is that these agents will resonate with users who contribute entries that are inline with that agents topic/fine tune, and that will be reflected in your resonance score with that agent.

so lets say you spend a week contributing a lot of research entries related to philosophy, right?

well when the agents are implemented, you will begin resonating with the philosophy agent, and this will be reflected on your profile. It will do a couple things: 1, this will help users exercise self reflection and keep track of where their focus lies based on what they have been writing about and sharing. and 2, this will allow other researchers to identify users with which they resonate (because there will be indicators on your profile that express your focus as a measurement, and will express what you spend the most time talking/writing about, if that makes sense!)

will update you guys more tomorrow, but just wanted to offer some insight into where we are at with development and give you an idea of where we are headed!

this will also be one of the ways we increase the value of the $nexus token and offer more incentive to users who hold it <3

ok I know some of y’all are wanting to know the status of things so let me just try to fill you in a little bit.

this project has turned into a lot more, a lot faster, than I think anyone was expecting. and while I have a nearly functional site built (as I’ve been sharing with you guys), there are a lot of backend and more legal-related details that we *have* to get right for this to all work.

I want y’all to know that I’m taking this so incredibly seriously, and I understand these things should have been sorted out before a launch really took place, but as I said in that launch break down - I really needed to raise this support to get this thing *truly* off the ground.

SO,

since launching the nexus token, a lot has developed.

- I have been extremely blessed with a group of really really solid (and genuine) people who have volunteered their time (and in many cases their finances) to making this happen, and happen the right way. they’re essentially helping shepherd me through the process and keep things on track.
- I’ve brought In some paid help and I’m currently seeking 1 to 2 more people with blockchain engineering experience to help build out the backend infrastructure properly (I know what this looks like, where we are going, but I need to lean on other minds to build it out properly and fill in the gaps. we can’t mess this up or it all comes falling down, obviously)

on a personal level I need to let you guys in on where I’m at so you understand the bigger picture here. I don’t want to talk about this part but I need to. I owe it to you guys. you’ve all invested in me and therefore I owe you the same.

as some of you know, I own a coffee shop and community hub in my neighborhood comm. In Cleveland.
however
what most of you don’t know is that I own this with my ex fiancée. and while only those closer to me know that story fully, it’s a big part of all of this right now for me because it’s the largest thorn in my side day to day.

I’ve mentioned this a bit off and on, but I don’t really talk about it a lot. bc I don’t like to. but here we are.

the main reason I raised this support and launched the token as early as I did was to give me the ability to move out of my current situation and into one with a community and support system I currently lack here, so I can put all of my time and attention into this project. in that separation with my ex partner I was forced to essentially detach from the only community I had here in Ohio. it’s a nasty messy story that I won’t burden you with. but my point is I have to get out of this living situation and into a place near my family and friends and people who care about me in order to get all of this with NEXUS in full motion with all of my attention and energy allocated to it. I’m stretched too thin here and entirely on my own, honestly.

and I’m moving the first week of July.

what has developed with Nexus has become the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for. like I’m blown away. and I intend to go above and beyond what I’ve promised you guys. FULLY. all I am asking of y’all is patience and trust. Which is a LOT to ask of strangers and para-social friends, I know. but these next few days are going to be pretty rough for me in terms of productivity as I will be packing up a house and moving with my pack of animals (2 dogs, 2 cats) to a new state.

this is the main reason I’m hiring some folks to help out with the production and build of this project. I could launch what I have built right now and it would be cool and all, but there are elements of this that you don’t see that need to be ironed out in order for this to thrive and for the user base to be fully protected. and for your ideas and contributions to be fully protected. which is the most important part to me.

so. that’s a lot I know. but I just felt convicted to let y’all in so that we’re all on the same page here. very big and cool shit is coming, and there are several people now making sure of it.<3
