Major General Rajan Sherawat, who leads IGAR South and is the head of Assam Rifles in Manipur, has refuted the false allegations made by #KukiChinZoSeparatists regarding troops destroying property and harassing #Kuki women during ongoing combing operations.

In addition, Major General Rajan Sherawat emphasized that the combing operation is a collaborative effort involving the Assam Rifles and #ManipurPolice, with proper video documentation. This operation will continue until the culprits responsible for the death of late SDPO Anand are apprehended.

Furthermore, Major General Rajan Sherawat convened a meeting with Kuki women leaders today, in the presence of DC Tengnoupal and DC Moreh, where he urged women leaders not to make unfounded allegations. He also issued a directive for those gathered in front of Assam Rifles posts to disperse before evening, warning that legal measures would be taken if they failed to comply.
