It's always a treat to have international colleagues visit us @Frontier_Usyd. Huge thanks to Dr. Alexander Santillo @biofinder_study 🇸🇪 for an impressive talk and a very nice lunch afterwards!
Rouse et al. propose an integrative neurocognitive model of controlled social behaviour that can explain the observed impairment of social behaviours in FTD. The model can also account for findings from other patient groups, including semantic dementia. https://t.co/U3CjYX3rs4
NIC-FTD directors @sducharme66 and Yolande Pijnenburg, together with Daniela Galimberti, Timo Grimmer, Glens Halliday and @Olivier_Piguet have published the rationale and aim of their DIPPA-FTD study! Check out the paper 👇🏽

Our latest preprint: we found that plasma NfL was elevated in Niemann-Pick Type C, but GFAP wasn’t. More evidence for the diagnostic utility of NfL in devastating conditions like NPC. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
