Literally every other post. I've blocked about 20 of these accounts already this morning. Someone invent a text-focused app please I can't hang around here much longer
@ellisadamant@Parody_PM It's not day one, they are sent all materials prior to the meeting to review, and can ask questions before the meeting if they don't understand. It's literally their job
@Stackattac1000@PolitlcsUK@grok A lot of people go abroad multiple times per year for work and holiday. I used to contribute 10-15 "arrivals" per year, so the figure doesn't sound enormous
@nishthamondal@TransUnion I've also had disputes refused without comment. They have merged my credit score with my brother, making both of us unable to get fair credit. Definitely some GDPR breaches involved too
.@MartinSLewis understand it might not be in your wheelhouse but regarding the new leasehold measures, is there anything in there for "absent leaseholds"? My peppercorn rent hasn't been collected since the 80s and I'd like to know if my position has changed in light of the update
@bradwellcommon@LBC Because the government pushed to send maximum students to university (to lower unemployment figures in hindsight), students apply, then plan 2 is brought in, tripping the costs (£3k to£9k) and change from a cpi +1 to an RPI+3% system of repayment.
@bradwellcommon@LBC You are correct, from any angle it wouldn't be a reasonable proposal to replace the SLC loan with a private bank loan... Which makes me wonder why you asked why people didn't just do that
@bradwellcommon@LBC Ever tried to get a 70k loan when you don't have a house as collateral because 9% of everything you earn over 28k is taken off your paycheck for a debt that grows faster than you can pay off?
@DilligafDave01@paullewismoney Interest rates increased after a promise they wouldn't. Sold at 1% above CPI or something like then then they just increased it after the fact. I was sold student loan at 1.5% Apr in 2010, it would be at 7% now
@culdee4flms2010@thecultraspod He actually went to the pyramids for a TV show and found out everything he had "researched" was false. He was looking for conductive walls to prove the battery theory and unsurprisingly the entire structure is homogeneous
