On the basis of their home language, historic expropriation of land without compensation, and exposure to the most extreme levels of violence in South Africa, many residents of the gang-ravaged Cape Flats should qualify for consideration by the US as potential refugees.

The GOOD Party is shocked to learn that the R850 million allocated for education won’t save 2,400 teacher posts.

The Western Cape has the funding, but chose to spend it elsewhere. This avoidable crisis leaves teachers & learners in the lurch.

Either the Finance MEC misled us, or the Education MEC has been misleading us since March 2024. The public deserves clear, honest communication.
