Amanda Platt, a victim of a farm attack, tells her story in Washington DC.
These are her words:
"Then he shouted: Kill the boer!"
"He slapped the phone out of my hand and hit met over the head with a crowbar. I faded out of consciousness"
"I was stabbed repeatedly with a spear"
"I prayed for strength. Lord give me stretch! My prayers were heard. I got the strength to get up and ran to my neighbours farm to get help."
"I stand here to speak for the people whose names are on those three thousand crosses who can not tell their own storis. I survived. They did not!"
3,000 crosses have been planted on Washington’s National Mall by activists, each representing an Afrikaner farmer murdered in South Africa. The Trump administration has welcomed 10,000 Afrikaner refugees to the United States. We need to do more. #AfrikanerGenocide
3,000 White South African farmers were murdered because they were White.
White People across the world must unite. We are already a global minority, just 8% of the world’s population.
We cannot co-exist with people who hate us and want us dead.
“Today, I'm not standing here as a politician or an activist. I'm standing here as a daughter.”
Heidie Taljaard shares the deeply personal story of losing members of her family in a farm attack and explains why she could no longer allow those she loved to become simply another statistic.
Her testimony is about far more than death. It is about the birthdays, Christmases, conversations and entire futures that disappear when a family loses someone to violence.
Today, she says their names.

“I am not moved.”
Adv Mark Oppenheimer, Advocate of the Johannesburg Bar, recounts questioning Julius Malema during litigation over the “Kill the Boer” chant and discusses the broader context of farm attacks, political rhetoric and South Africa's legal response.
Oppenheimer also explains why he believes the issue eventually had to move beyond South Africa's courts and onto the international stage.

Powerful, silent, brutal, heartbreaking.
They call for justice from beyond the grave, point fingers at their persecutors and ask:
“Why is everybody silent?”
