In 2023, Anthropic promised to pause training if its AI outpaced its safety measures.

In February 2026, they scrapped that promise, while Demis Hassabis said at Davos he'd be open to a conditional pause.

So on March 21st, we're marching to Anthropic, OpenAI, and xAI to ask every CEO: would you pause if the others do?
