Love the pod. JCal is starting to get on my nerves to the point of not wanting to listen/watch. Way to binary in his thinking. Baiting you all into false hypotheticals, and the last episode veered into offensive remarks about certain groups. Sad to see the show descending in quality from when I first picked it up a couple of years ago.

I'm still out. For steak, I'm not going to a place that has to cut it to check.

A good restaurant, the waiter will inconspicuously look at each steak when you make your first cut. If it is wrong, they pull it immediately.

An average restaurant, the waiter will ask if it is prepared correctly.

A low end restaurant, the server will need to be signaled to come over so the steak can be returned if prepared incorrectly.

Notre Dame alumni in the NFL will earn a combined $278 million in 2026, per spotrac.

Kyle Hamilton, Quenton Nelson, and Ronnie Stanley are among 3 former Irish players who are earning above $20 million annually. To clarify: Aubrey did not play football for Notre Dame, but rather made the transition at the professional level. The First Team All-Pro is tied with Steelers kicker Chris Boswell as the highest paid players at their position, earning $7 million annually.

ND ranks sixth overall in annual NFL contract compensation, behind Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Oklahoma. The number is expected to continue rising, with high level prospects such as QB CJ Carr and CB Leonard Moore expected to enter the NFL Draft next year.

Whoever in college football decided to make player recruiting and retention about money, likely didn't consider the impact it would have on the most hated team - Notre Dame.

Over the medium and long run, Notre Dame will always have money. It's an arms race that maybe 4 or 5 other schools can keep up with.

The networks are going to continue to push for at least one good non-conference game.

9 will likely be the long term cap on non-conference games. That leaves a good ND or cross conference matchup, and 2 cupcakes (but no FCS).

We only need 3-4 of the top 25 to play their good non-conference game with us, Navy who is sometimes ranked, and 7-8 middling to rising programs, to have a great schedule.

Lol, IDs are required for every retail purchased gun, long or handgun.

Private sales are private.

Either way carrying and handgun requires a permit, which is ID or if in a constitutional carry state, you can't be a felon.

Long guns are legal almost everywhere, except for some cities I presume.
