@dmoglin@MPECSInc@SwiftOnSecurity When this "hack" was flying around on Friday, there was one important step between 9 and 10 left out - Bitlocker will operate as if everything were normal before loading Safe Mode.
This means that with a TPM+PIN protector, you're still prompted for a PIN before Windows will boot

@SBSDiva@ariaupdated +1 on this (or as many imaginary points I can assign). The number of times that I attempt to Google random error code 0x80ID10T in the hopes that this time I will be able to immediately find a user-readable explanation for failure can be considered borderline insanity.
@haveibeenpwned FYI, small typo on the PwnedWebsites page -- 'The authenticity of the breach could not be independently established and has been flagged as "unverfieid"'

@ariaupdated What's included in the "Other" category?
The documentation lists the same text for all 4 categories: "Configure this policy to specify whether to receive Windows Driver Updates from Windows Update endpoint"
@cerqueiraalvesf@GossiTheDog@atoonk My first thought was that it was at least 2020 when this page was last seen and it never got updated ... until the ~3 billion people's F5 finally started working again and some dev pushed a quick change.
@GossiTheDog So ... this is very likely a dumb question, but are the implications the same between the SAM file on Windows workstations and the ntds.dit file on a DC?
