$BTC – Time for an important update! ✅👇

In my last perspective, I outlined my Invalidation Scenario and how I would position myself accordingly.

Now, we’re at a critical point. We need a strong bounce from this support range, otherwise, there’s a serious risk of breaking down and the Invalidation Scenario to play out.

If $BTC drops below the January 13th lows, as mentioned in my previous update, I’ll take protective short positions to hedge against further downside.

Looking at Velo Data, the Open-Interest is skyrocketing while the price is dumping, indicating that bears are likely doubling down on shorts.

This makes me hesitant to act prematurely, until my bullish thesis is clearly invalidated, this range could very well continue for the foreseeable future.

But here’s the key takeaway: nothing has changed on the high timeframes.

$BTC and the $BTC.D still look strong, while the Fear & Greed Index is at its lowest point since the macro bottom in August.

This is not how macro tops form and certainly not how distribution phases develop.

If anything, I believe a short-term breakdown could be the classic Shakeout-before-Breakout scenario, as highlighted in my previous update.

In the coming days, I’ll make my final adds on $ETH and altcoins with the cash I saved for this exact scenario.

I’ll also monitor a potential breakdown and be ready to take protective shorts if necessary.
