We know questioning is one of the most powerful ways to activate student thinking but it’s not always easy to improve it in a busy school week.
That’s why we’re running the Great Teaching Questioning Challenge.
• Work with a small group of colleagues
• Trial practical techniques in your classroom
• Commit just 15 minutes a week
• All grounded in evidence-informed practice
Over six weeks, you’ll focus on one of the most impactful elements of great teaching and build habits that stick.
It’s free to participate and applications close on 17th April.

Tonight’s shameful scenes do not represent our culture, our history, or our people. Our great city is built on togetherness and acceptance, and Sunderland will forever be for all. We are stronger as one community. Now. Then. Always. ❤️🤍

Supposing Jimmy Anderson's run-up is about 19 yards, and he's bowled 40,002 deliveries in Tests...
Well that's 760,038 yards, or 430 miles.
Which is, by chance, the distance on foot to walk from the Utilita Bowl to Chester-le-Street via every Test venue in England.
Really great to catch up with @EvidenceInEdu@notjustjack to talk about how we can use the GTT and pupil surveys next year.
Excited to start working on the implementation plan 🔥
🤔Is this our best ever work...?
