There are hundreds of white people on Twitter upset that I spend my money with Black businesses. I don’t care.

We’ve got to stop letting people gaslight us into thinking racism isn’t real or that group economics isn’t necessary for Black progress.

Right now, Black unemployment is up to 7.2%. For Black women, it’s risen from 5.5% to 6.3% since last year. If we’re serious about confronting discrimination, we have to be intentional about supporting each other. That’s not racist — that’s wisdom.

There are always a few Black folks who choose to serve white supremacy. Darrell Glasper is one of them. If you call a Black man a “cancer” for standing up for his people, you’re not just out of line — you’re a tool of the very system we’re fighting. We have to call that out as boldly as they attack us.

I’m a free Black man, and I act like it.
My doctors? Black.
Landscaper? Black.
HVAC tech? Black.
Electrician? Black.
Esthetician? Black.
Lawyers, tailor, publicist, business manager, print shop, mechanic — all Black. When I host events, I choose Black venues. Because the Black dollar has to build Black economic power.

If you’re white in America, you don’t have to try to buy white — it’s the default. So don’t be offended when Black people choose to be intentional about building our own economic future.

It’s cool when you do it, it’s a problem when we do it… yall know the rest…

Our families are putting out that algorithm Clarion call home. Our friends are wanting to link up and build. Our hearts are filled with community and growth. Don't get swept into an algorithm that sabotages that. Grow...grow..expand. embody

love when celebs are raw and transparent about stuff they're going through, because it really helps make others feel seen and they become even cooler to us.

Jasmine Crockett: "Democrats I need y'all to listen to me clearly when I say, once we get control back we have to be just as aggressive if not more than the Republicans.

Unfortunately so many Democrats stayed at home because they just did not believe we would fight for them."

@GavinNewsom has been warning for months that Donald Trump's military takeover wasn't stopping in LA, but was spreading across the country. Every Democrat needs to oppose this with the same courage as Newsom.

HEARTWARMING: Hakeem Adeniji and wife shared a special moment on field after sons passing.

Have you ever heard about this massacre in Texas 1910. hundreds of Black people were murdered by white mobs. The Slocum massacre.. and then they call us the most violent group of people in America. we have never organized mass murder in America against European Americans.

Ice T on Donald Trump: “We already know I don’t give a fuck about that clown ass motherfucker. What’s more scary is his followers. The people that follow him blindly have a way of brushing off all he does. If any normal person did one of those things, they’d be outta here.”

In Louisiana’s “Cancer Alley,” toxins from fossil fuel plants poison families like Roishetta Ozane & her daughter Kamea. Now they’re touring the nation, confronting corporate giants whose profits come at the cost of Black lives. This is truth to power in action!

—On September 5, 1942, United States Navy Messman Charles Jackson French swam through the night for 6 - 8 hours pulling a raft of 15 wounded sailors with a rope around his stomach through shark infested waters. The U.S. Navy Ship the U.S.S. Gregory was hit by Japanese naval fire in the South Pacific. Many were wounded and killed. French successfully brought these men to safety on the shores of The Solomon Islands. French was the first black swimmer to earn the Navy Medal for his heroism in 1943. We remember Charles Jackson French and commemorate his heroism and incredible swimming. Thank you for your service and your valor, Mr. French.
