@RioVeradonir I have a personal intolerance for those who get in the way of America's melting pot, so this topic tends to stir me a bit. Plenty of high horsing in regard to immigration control tend to just be a veneer for what could only be mockingly put as a 𝑙𝑖𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙 nativism at best.

If law enforcement friendly pundits insist there's no Fourth Amendment issues at all, look for Flock cameras to get banned after a couple of scandals involving bad cops and serious privacy invasions.

If you want lots of cameras, strict restrictions are your friend.
