Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
It is remarkable how dispassionate he is in answering these questions. He doesn’t seem like an evil psychopath. Rather, he appears to believe that there was nothing wrong with his actions. If you didn’t know what he was saying, you would think he was a nice young man.
This shows the power of dehumanizing the victims. Once you believe that the victims are vermin or worse, a human being is capable of rape, torture, murder and more. Frightening.
This is me shortly after arriving in the United States.
It was while my mind was still in the box that the Islamic Republic had placed me in.
This is me before I tried to learn beyond what I was fed before I saw the truth of the situation.
It's when I still believe the propaganda I have been fed since I was a child.
I wholeheartedly supported the Palestinian cause because I assumed it was a matter of human rights.
So you can see that I don't hate Palestinians.
I discovered that the "Free Palestine" movement was not concerned with human rights. If it was, they would see how Hamas has put Palestinians in danger and forced them into a war that has resulted in death and destruction rather than victory.
They would see the ugliness of what Hamas has done to Israelis and Palestinians alike. They would see how the Islamic Republic has started a fire that is destroying the world in 44 years.
I gained a better understanding of history. I learned more about what has been going on around the world and what has been done to the Middle East, as well as who is to blame for our misery, and Israel is not to blame.
Today, I continue to advocate for human rights, which include Jewish people all over the world.
Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, was 80% Christian under Israeli 🇮🇱 rule until 1995.
In 1995, Palestinian 🇵🇸 Authority took control. Today under 10% of the population is Christian.
Under Palestinian rule, the birthplace of Jesus underwent full Islamization.
“I examined incinerated remnants of teeth and bones; charred remains of children… I read CT scans of children and adults bound together and burned alive. I viewed images of a decapitated young girl, her child skull tethered to her trunk by only a sliver of decaying skin.”—@MissDiagnosis #October7Massacre

“UNRWA did not respond to The Post’s request for comment Sunday.”
How surprising.
A Palestinian man is recorded blaming UNRWA for being controlled by Hamas and not distributing humanitarian aid to those who need it, but to Hamas warehouses.

U.S. campuses have been terrorized by pro-Hamas protests, primarily led by Students for ‘Justice’ in Palestine.
To understand these protests, one must look at who’s behind this organization.
Three words: Follow the money.
(Sorry for the long thread. I promise: it’s worth it)
Idan and Sahar were in a safe room in their home when Hamas terrorists entered and threw a grenade at them, Idan was seriously injured, then the terrorists burned down the house, Idan and Sahar escaped through the window, Idan was murdered and Sahar was kidnapped. In the video published by Hamas you can see that Sahar was safe and sound. Tonight they murdered him.

for a long time i said that antisemitism, particularly on the american left, was not as bad as people claimed.
i'd like to just state that i was totally wrong.
i still don't understand it, really. or know what to do about it.
but it is so fucked.
“I was forced to leave my study group because my group members told me that the people at the Nova music festival deserved to die because they were partying on stolen land.”
MIT.
Wow.
Harvard, UPenn, MIT presidents would not give a straight answer to @RepStefanik's question on whether calling for the genocide of Jews constitutes bullying and harassment against Jewish students.
I was ashamed to hear the recent testimony of 3 top university presidents. In my personal opinion, it was one of the most despicable moments in the history of U.S. academia. The 3 Presidents were offered numerous opportunities to condemn racist, antisemitic, hate rhetoric and refused doing so hiding behind calls for “context.” The memories of my father’s parents, Abraham and Rachel Bourla, his brother David and his little sister Graciela, who all died in Auschwitz, came to mind. I was wondering if their deaths would have provided enough “context” to these presidents to condemn the Nazis' antisemitic propaganda.
And because dehumanization of the victims makes it easier to “set your own context” and justify anything, here is a picture of Graciela Bourla, who was exterminated in the concentration camp at the age of 17. Unfortunately, no pictures of my grandparents and uncle survived. I still wonder what they looked like.
@AlnaouqA 1. We thought Gaza was an open air prison with unlivable conditions? This school is beautiful!
2. It is heartbreaking the destruction the hands of Hamas has bestowed on those in Israel and Gaza.
Yesterday, Britain sent a powerful message.
Our country, one of tolerance and decency, came together and said “no” to anti-Jewish racism.
Jewish people and their allies filled the streets of London as they stood shoulder to shoulder against antisemitism.
Thank you.
