@valyala Even if you don’t use any C++ specific syntax it doesn’t mean you can compile your program with the C compiler because there are fundamental differences such as value categories, scope rules, character literals, type conversions , implicit behaviors etc.

@valyala Also most of the C++ programmers don’t really understand the difference between C inside C++ and the actual C. C++ has C inside but that C is different C than the actual one.

@cnakazawa This was how I learned to use git in my first job and then I realized people do not use it like that. I think it is much cleaner solution and makes much more sense. git merge makes mess and it is so hard to convince people because they usually don’t know how it works at all.
