PlayStation just announced that new games will be released as digital only starting in 2028.

Do you see it yet?

You will live in the pods. You will eat the bugs. You will own nothing. You will stream the compute.

Do not ignore what’s happening. They want you to live in a world where you are a RENTER that BORROWS everything. They want you to be a subscriber that LEASES their life from a master.

Do not be a digital slave that can have their access to life revoked at any moment in time. If you own nothing, you can be shut out at a moments notice.

It can and WILL happen to you. You are not protected by being “good.” You don’t know how quickly rules and sentiments can change.

This is very scary. This is real. This is happening.

Make noise. Do not go gently. Reject the paradigm.

Heed this warning. This path leads to you eventually not owning your physical body. No idea how that ultimately looks in the end, how technologically this plays out, but that is the conclusion and it WILL happen as this road continues.

Every disc, tape, and cartridge I own still works. No matter how many licenses expire, no corporation can reach into my house and take it back.

That's the entire argument for physical media, sitting right there in that email.
