A new report on improving public sector productivity, published by @Demos. It says that leaders often focus on “what works” for efficiency, rather than “what matters” to people. The report proposes a shift towards a "strengths-based, person-led" model which allows us to shift away from productivity from the perspective of services, to productivity from the perspective of people who use services. It says this switch will improve both outcomes & efficiency:
