This is not “diversity.”

@japan_nobunaga Distance doesn’t convey traffic. It takes me 35 minutes to go to my sister who is only about 15 miles away. It takes me 45 minutes to go to Austin, close to 90 miles away. if I am talking about scheduling something, I give time. If I’m talking about a trip, I give miles.

@japan_nobunaga Practical reason? Our infrastructure, signage, and many tools are based on imperial system. The cost would be excessive to replace and the system in place works for us. Metric is used, (most products have metric and imperial measurements) just not the main system.
