Are you brimming with ground-breaking ideas? Do you have a solution that could revolutionize the way we tackle intestinal hyperpermeability during chronic liver cirrhosis? If so, we want to hear from you👇🏻 https://t.co/M7WcNtDwh1
Thankyou @Tacke_lab/ @CorneliusEngel7 lab for these wonderful years!
I am thrilled to announce that I will be embarking on a new adventure as a Scientist at @Boehringer ingelheim Germany.

Our manuscript on the role of intestinal B-cells in NASH, as well as immunoglobulins in NASH-related fibrosis and HCC is online. Thankful to all collaborators - what a journey - a real team effort! CHECK IT OUT! https://t.co/d89nfSxOGi
Congrats to @olmohsin@SheidaMRad@JZimmermann001 @MGomezAguero & other authors of "Absence of gut microbiota impairs depletion of Paneth cells but not goblet cells in germ-free Atoh1lox/lox VilCreERT2 mice" on winning May's #APSselect 🏅award in @ajpgi!

#APSselect study finds lack of intestinal #microbiota in a certain mouse model is associated with reduced epithelial cells and delays depletion of specialized Paneth cells: https://t.co/0jsjjgdfaV via @ajpgi. Pictured: Authors @SheidaMRad, Mohsin, Juanola.
looking forward to an exciting discussions: from building consortia, working with EASL and ways to make real changes to lives of patients with cirrhosis. Look forward to seeing you all there… pls feel free to send us questions🔆@ef_clif@EASLedu@EuropeLiver#livertwitter
🚨New paper alert🚨
Consider the gut #microbiota before choosing your favourite 🐁 model:
Intestinal epithelial cell turnover is slowed down in germ-free mice which is why tamoxifen application to Math1∆IEC mice leads to poor/delayed Paneth cell depletion 👇

I am very glad that this work is out @ajpgi. Thank you and congratulations to all the amazing people who are involved. Injection of tamoxifin into GF-Math1∆IEC mice did not act in the same way as in SPF-Math1∆IEC mice. To clarify this contradiction👇🏻here is the full story!
Job alert! 📣 we have an open #position for a #laboratory#technician at the Charité, who will be involved in our work in #gastrointestinal#stemcell biology.
If you know someone who might be interested in applying, please share this information.
