Spent this last day of 2018 giving back. Volunteered for @VogelAlcove a nonprofit that is doing incredible work helping children overcome the effects of homelessness in the Dallas community. 💜
moving from corporate to an early stage startup is a culture shock.
in corporate, you’re flying a commercial airliner with established systems, processes, and a clear flight plan.
in a startup, you’re building the plane while it’s already in the air and everyone on board is trying to figure out where you’re landing.
woah! 306.6 miles. 65 hours.
insane physical performance… but even more, a mental one.
Mark just did that.
i once pushed myself to run as many miles as possible in a month and tapped out at 250.
306 in 65 is proof that what feels impossible is often just… untested.
completed my 200th pilates class today. my key takeaway: pilates isn’t about how many reps you do. it’s how you do them. intention is what keeps your alignment precise, your core engaged, and your movement controlled.
intention is everything…even in movement.
